Hello everybody! I would like to share my expectations and revelations conserning our new book "Jane Eyre" by Charlotte Bronte. From the very beggining I knew that it is a wonderful book, a sad story with happy end. I've seen a movie based on this book, and I loved it. Now I would like to compare the book and the movie. For sure, there is a bit of discomparancy between them.
Firstly, I would like to describe the characters of the book. The main character is Jane Eyre, she's a ten-year-old girl. She's an orphan, a burden for her aunt. When Jane's parents died, she remained with her uncle and aunt. Jane's uncle Mr. Reed's last will was to take care about the child like it is his wife's own child. But Mrs. Reed doesn't realize this will, she punishes Jane with purpose and without it. Mrs. Reed has three own  children, whom she sencerely loves: Eliza, John and Geogiana. John Reed - a schoolboy of fourteen years old, large and fat, who eats too much and who lookes pale and ill, is very disobedient. He used to beat Jane, but his mother puts on a semblance that nothing strange happens. Eliza - Mrs. Reed daughter is selfish, Georgiana  is wicked. But everybody in the house say that it is Jane who has got all these flaws. Servants mention that Jane Eyre isn't equal of Mrs. Reed's children. Nobody understands Jane, a simple lovely child, who loves reading books, who does all possible in order to please her aunt and not to be punished. All the people see Jane as an unthankful monster, a deceitful thing.
One day a strange man with a great nose, a big mouth and large teeth comes Jane's "home" and he talks to little girl. After their conversation about death and Bible, Mrs. Reed and Mr. Brocklehurst decide to send Jane to Lowood. It is a kind of school, where girls are supposed to pray, to study, and they aren't aloowed to go home even for vacations.
Jane isn't sad, she's happy not to live with her severe aunt and her selfish children anymore.
I'm eager to know what will happen with Jane Eyre later. I promise I will post all that I read and I will share my impressions with you, my sead fellows and teacher.

Good LucK!!!
Hugs!

Good night, my dear fellows and my dearest teacher.
I'd like to share with you my imprassions about the book "Fahreinheit 451" by Rad Broadbury.
Firstly, I would like to mention that I didn't like the book as much as I liked "Frankenstein". But, anyway I guess, it's the book that must be read.
The world that is described here is strange, people don't speak to each other, they don't converse about anything important, they even don't remember when and where they have met for the first time. People are ignorant, they don't live, just survive, they're interested in nothing, they don't want to understand each other, to enjoy life, to love, to live, to be friends.
It's peculiarly, isn't it?
But what about nowadays? Sometimes people don't want to understand the others, don't want to help people who need help, don't appreciate life, people don't live to live, to love, but to accumulate money. People waste their time.
All the problems of our world are described in this book: people's ignorance, spire, sadness.
But at the end of the book the war begins. I guess, the author sais: "Stop being ignorant, unthankful, evil. It can bring grave consequences."
The protagonist of the book understands that he can change the world. Montag founds people who are sure they can do it, can change people's understanding of life, view of life. Montag wants to understand how do people live, how do they think. The author sais that it's hidden not only in the books, that are forbidden, but in something else. That people must change for the better life.

I thing the fact that we have to read and appreciate the books isn't the only message, which author wants to transmit. We have to appreciate each other, all that we have, to appreciate life, to enjoy life and to be grateful for all that we have!

Love!

Sincerely yours, Kate!

Hello once again!
My trip around the odd book continue.
Montag already change his point of view. He liked the conversations with Clarisse, but one day she's gone. Mildred, fireman's wife, said that she run over by a car. Montag missed her, he understood that she was unusual girl, she was wiser than the others.
When firemen burnt the books and tha woman, who didn't want to leave her books, Montag understood that there was something in these books, that people wrote them for many years, maybe they were interesting and contained some hidden information. These books were somebody's life.
Now Montag was almost sure that he didn't want to be a fireman. He started to read his books, which were hidden by him one year ago. Montag hoped to discover something about their nation in this books, he heard that the whole world hates them, he wanted to figure out, why?
But fireman's wife didn't understand him, she lived in her own world with telephone conversations and TV.
Trere was a lack of comunication between the husband and his wife. They didn't understand each other. It's a pity. I was shoked when the author described that they didn't remember when and where they've met for the first time.
I hope that that at the end of the book this muddy world will change, people will thing about each other, they will enjoy life and will love the others.

P.S I  don't like the world, described here. I would die in such a world were people are ignorant and indifferent.
With respect. Kate

Hello!! I just continue to read this strange book! It takes a lot of time, because it's difficult to understand not only the meaning of the words, but the meaning of the sentences as well.
I found that after walking with Clarisse, Montag came back home. He found his wife cold, she was aproximately dead. She took thirty capsules of sleeping-tablets, but she didn't recognized that, she thought she couldn't do this. The author also mentioned Montag's work, and a dog, Hound, maden by people, who had no heart, blood or bones.
Every day Montag met Clarisse, whom I sympathize, whome I consider the only normal and social person from all that I already "met" in the book. People considered she is odd, she gathered autumn leaves, chestnuts, she could stay in the rain and enjoy its taste. Her psychologist said she was an onion, and she kept him busy peeling away the layers.
Clarisse was astonished by Montag's work. She was sure it was'n made for him. Every person Clarisse met didin't want even to listen to her. But Montag talked to her, sometimes he understood her.
Clarisse said that no one had time and any more for anyone else.
Clarisse didn't go to school, teachers and fellows considered her anti-social, but in vain!
This book is interesting for me because I know it was written when people didn't have iron dogs, which could kill people, people didn't kill each over without any purpose. But the author, probably being a genious, invented it. In nowadays scienties can do everything, a dog who has no heart or bones as well.
It's interesting, how the author looked through the time and saw the future.
I will read the book futher, I'm interested about the end. I can predict that this seventeen-year-old gir will change thirty-year-old fireman's view of life.

Love.
Kate

Hello to everybody! Today, 23.01.2013 I started to read the new book: FAHRENHEIT 451. It's a great event, I faught with my lazyness for many days. Now I finally understood that I have to read, I have to work in order to become a good teacher.
Sincerely, I'm afraid that one day I will go to school, and I won't know all the things I must know.
Concerning the book, from the very biggining, it's difficult for me to understand. Till now I read that a man. whose name is Montag, a fireman, thirty-year-old man met one night a girl who sayd that she is seventeen and she is crazy, her name is Clarisse McClellan. The Montag's work wasn't to extinguish the fire, but to nurn the books.
Clarisse seemed to be strange, odd for Montag. She asked a lot, she thought about nature. I think she was wiser than fireman. He was busy, he didn't remembered when he saw a dew on the grass, and "a man on the moon". This girl saw all the beauties of the nature, all the small things that people didn't noticed.
When Montag and Clarisse reached her house, before saying "Good buy", she asked if Montag is happy. It was peculiar for him. He was sure he was.
This book is somewhat strange for me, but I liked it from the biggining. It didn't happen with the previous one! I'm sure I will read it this night and soon I will write something else about the later events.

Hugs. Kate.
P.S. I hope somebody will read my message!!
